China Suppliers Factory Depilatory Wax Steel Belt Pastillator for Uniform Pastilles Production
Product Video
Long Description
The production workflow begins with molten depilatory wax fed from a heated holding tank into the pastillator’s dosing head. The head deposits uniform droplets onto a moving stainless steel belt, which is continuously water-cooled from below. As the belt travels, the wax solidifies into firm, dust-free pastilles that are then gently scraped off and collected for packaging or further handling.
Depilatory wax presents unique difficulties in conventional granulation: it is inherently tacky, softens easily at room temperature, and tends to smear or clump under mechanical force. Traditional cutting or milling methods often produce irregular particles, generate sticky fines, and require frequent cleaning due to wax buildup. Our steel belt pastillator overcomes these issues by using a non-contact, drop-forming process that never stresses the wax mechanically, preserving its thermal and physical properties while creating clean, uniform granules.
The system supports a capacity range of 100–1200 kg/h, and the granule size (typically from 2 mm to 15 mm) is fully customizable to meet specific packaging, melting, or application needs.
Key Advantages
-
Consistent granule geometry – Every pastille has the same size and shape, ensuring predictable melting behavior and easy handling.
-
No dust, no smearing – The process generates virtually no fines or sticky residues, reducing waste and cleaning downtime.
-
Gentle handling – No cutting, crushing, or high-shear action, which is critical for heat-sensitive and tacky wax blends.
-
High on-stream reliability – Robust steel belt and sealed droplet head are designed for continuous operation with depilatory waxes, minimizing interruptions.
-
Easy cleanability – Smooth belt surface and accessible design allow quick product changeovers or removal of residual wax.
With decades of experience in complete pastillation systems, we ensure seamless integration from melt tank to final granule discharge, backed by practical process expertise for the depilatory wax industry.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the steel belt pastillator handle tacky depilatory wax?
The system utilizes a non-contact, drop-forming process where molten wax is deposited directly onto a water-cooled stainless steel belt. By avoiding mechanical cutting or milling, the wax is not subjected to mechanical stress, preventing clumping, smearing, and sticky residues.
What is the production capacity of the pastillation system?
Our pastillation system supports a broad capacity range, processing from 100 kg/h up to 1200 kg/h to meet varying production and output demands.
Can the size of the wax granules be adjusted?
Yes, the granule size is fully customizable. We can configure the system to produce pastilles typically ranging from 2 mm to 15 mm, depending on your application or packaging requirements.
Why is a dust-free process important for depilatory wax?
Traditional methods produce fine dust and irregular particles, leading to material waste, sticky residues, and frequent maintenance. A dust-free pastillation process ensures clean, uniform granules, reducing downtime and improving handling safety.
How easy is it to clean and maintain the system?
The system features a smooth stainless steel belt and an accessible design that allows for rapid cleaning and removal of residual wax, making product changeovers quick and straightforward.
