The asphalt/bitumen steel belt pelletizer is specially engineered for the continuous solidification and granulation of molten asphalt and bitumen materials. The system feeds liquid material evenly onto a continuously moving cooling steel belt, where the droplets are rapidly cooled and formed into uniform pellets. The final product is easy to package, transport, store, and re-melt during downstream applications.

Granulating asphalt and bitumen presents several technical challenges due to their high viscosity, strong adhesion, heat sensitivity, and long cooling time. During production, unstable temperature control may cause tailing, irregular pellet shape, sticking, or belt contamination.
