China Suppliers Factory: Steel Belt Pastillator for AKD Wax Granulation - Uniform & Dust-Free Pastilles
Product Video
Long Description
The production workflow begins with molten AKD wax being fed onto a moving stainless steel belt via a precisely controlled drop-forming system. The belt is continuously cooled from below using water sprays or immersion cooling, solidifying the wax into hemispherical pastilles that are then discharged by a scraper. AKD wax presents unique challenges in granulation, including rapid solidification, and sensitivity to temperature fluctuations. The steel belt pastillator overcomes these difficulties through optimized belt surface treatment, and controlled cooling zones, ensuring smooth pellet formation without clogging or deformation, with a flexible capacity range of 100–1500 kg/h.
In addition, the system is designed to provide highly consistent particle size distribution and excellent product purity, which are essential for downstream packaging, storage, and application performance. Advanced temperature monitoring and automatic flow regulation help maintain stable operating conditions throughout continuous production. The enclosed structure also minimizes material contamination and reduces operator exposure to heat and fumes, improving workplace safety and environmental performance. Compared with conventional flaking or drum cooling technologies, the steel belt pastillation process offers lower maintenance requirements, higher energy efficiency, and easier cleaning, making it especially suitable for modern AKD wax manufacturing plants requiring reliable long-term operation and high product quality.
