The phenolic resin steel belt pastillator is engineered to address the unique challenges of granulating thermosetting phenolic resins. These resins are highly viscous, heat-sensitive, and prone to stickiness and agglomeration, making conventional granulation methods inefficient or inconsistent. The workflow begins with metered feeding of molten or partially solidified phenolic resin onto a temperature-controlled steel belt. The resin is evenly distributed and gradually cooled, allowing controlled solidification into granules. A subsequent cutting mechanism produces uniform pellets while minimizing breakage and dust generation. The system is optimized for capacities between 100 and 3000 kg/h, accommodating both pilot-scale and full-scale industrial operations.
